Nairobi, 18th October 2024
Nairobi County Executive for Business Hustlers and Opportunities, Dr. Anastasia Nyalita attended a lunch reception which was hosted by visiting Canadian Mayor, His Worship Mayor of Brampton Patrick, Brown and BHive in collaboration with the Trade Commissioner Service at the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi.
Speaking at the reception sideline, Dr. Nyalita said Nairobi County welcomed business opportunities with like-minded cities, like Brampton city. And sighted BHive, Brampton’s premier start-up incubator for helping international start-ups accelerate their expansion and working closely with Brampton city in upscaling start-ups. They are also heavily involved and invested in empowering entrepreneurs by providing essential resources, mentorship, and networks for rapid business expansion. These are valuable connections, networks and partnerships that Nairobi would strive to adopt to ensure more small-scale business owners are constantly embraced.
“Governor Sakaja’s manifesto clearly spells out empowering startups and MSME’s. At the county, we have a directorate that squarely deals with this.” Said Dr Nyalita.
