Nairobi County Gears Up for Customer Service Week 2024

Nairobi City County Executive Committee Member in charge of Inclusivity, Public participation and Customer Service Ms. Rosemary Kariuki chaired a meeting to discuss the Customer Service week scheduled to be held on the 7th to 11th October 2024.

Throughout the week, various sectors of the County will present their services, providing valuable insights into their operations and initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction.

Said the County Executive, “The week-long celebration will showcase the dedicated efforts of all ten sectors within the County to enhance service delivery. Nairobi City County officials will be stationed at various locations across the county to enhance public interaction and address resident concerns. This proactive approach ensures a direct line of communication and offers residents an opportunity to voice their concerns.”
Customerservicewk 8She went on to say, “H.E. Governor Sakaja aspires to foster a more responsive and accountable administration, ultimately embodying Nairobi’s spirit of hope, dignity, and opportunity for every citizen.”

The County Chief Officer for Public Participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service Ms Zipporah Mwangi said, “As Nairobi continues to evolve, the Customer Service stands as a testament to the city’s dedication to fostering a responsive, accessible, and respectful environment for every citizen. This initiative is a cornerstone of the Governor’s commitment to transforming how services are delivered across the city.”
Customerservicewk 10Customer Service was established to address the growing needs of Nairobi’s diverse population with greater efficiency and compassion. By centralizing access to essential services and providing a streamlined, user-friendly interface, the county’s aim is to ensure that every resident receives the support they need with respect and promptness.

In attendance were County Chief Officer Public Service Ms. Janet Opiata, Chief Officer in charge of Food, Agriculture and Natural resources Ms. Gladwell Cheruiyot, Director Customer Service Ms. Lydia Gatheru and Director Boroughs Mr. Joel Muli.
