Nairobi City County Launches Customer Service Week, Focuses on “Serving Nairobians Above and Beyond Expectations”

Nairobi City County today kick started the Customer Service Week (CSW) celebrations whose theme this year is “serving Nairobians above and beyond expectations.”

This initiative is a cornerstone of the Governor’s commitment to transforming how services are delivered across the city. County officials will be stationed at various locations across the county to enhance public interaction and address resident concerns. This proactive approach ensures a direct line of communication and offers residents an opportunity to voice their concerns.
Custserviceweek 1While touring the different booths set up by various Departments County Executive Committee Member for Inclusivity, Public participation and Customer Service Ms. Rosemary Kariuki stated that the County’s goal is to ensure that this year’s Customer Service Week leaves a lasting impact, celebrating excellence in service delivery across all departments.

Ms. Zipporah Mwangi, Chief Officer in charge of Public participation, Citizen Engagement and Customer Service Said the CSW is meant to celebrate our customers  and appreciate them for choosing to be served by us and to affirm our commitment to serving them with utmost exceptional services that leaves them with awesome customer experience!

The first day of the CSW in cooperated a number of activities that saw customers getting served lunch by Dishi na County while also receiving the following services;

– OPD/Triage – 302 people

– Nutrition assessment – 80 people

– SGBV/Mental health – 25 people

– Breast cancer/ Cervical cancer -15 people

– 35 pints of blood collected.

The Customer Service week provides a platform for citizens to engage with county staff and also it provides a channel for feedback to enhance services delivery.
