Governor Sakaja Meets Market Leaders to Discuss Smooth Relocation to Kangundo Road Market, Announces Two-Month Cess Waiver for Traders

Governor Johnson Sakaja is currently meeting with leaders from Marikiti and Muthurwa markets representing onion, pineapple, potato, and orange traders to discuss a smooth transition for their relocation to Kangundo market. Governor Sakaja reiterated that order must prevail in the city to pave way for business to take place.

Governor Sakaja also mentioned that cess will not be charged at Kangundo road market for the next two months as traders settle in to allocated spaces.

In attendance was Adamson Bungei, Nairobi Police Commander, Steven Mugo OCS Kamkunji, County Executive, Dr. Anastasia Nyalita, Business Hustler Opportunity, Godfrey Akumali, Ag. County Secretary, Chief Officers and Nairobi county revenue team.
