Nairobi City County Government continues to attract partnerships in implementation key development programs. The County has received commitment from Teach for Kenya, an organization engaged in promoting education in Kenya. Under the partnership, Teach for Kenya will support the County towards promoting pre-primary education and vocational training through mutually identified initiatives.
While appreciating the gesture, Director for Donor Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement Kefa Omanga assured the partners of the County Government’s commitment to attainment of global goals in education and training through continuous improvement of local education quality outcomes. He highlighted Governor Sakaja’s transformative Dishi na County program that has become a pace setter in the continent.
The Director appreciated the leadership and support of the County Chief Officer- Office of the Governor Priscilla Mahinda, Talents, Skills Development sector through Chief Officer Mohammed Abdi, Director Ruth Awuor, Deputy Directors Raphael Kinyungu and Ronal Mititi for their expedition’s engagement in the co-creation leading to identification of mutual areas of cooperation that will underpin the program.
