To our esteemed stakeholders, here is the initial feedback on the recently held public participation forum on the proposed Animal Control and Welfare Bill 2024.You complained that there was no adequate consultation before the initial draft was done. The bill stands withdrawn, and we shall soon invite you to a stakeholders’ engagement to work together for an improved bill seeking animal welfare, management and control for a harmonious environment.
