The Incoming Ag. County Chief Officer for ICT Infrastructure, Mr. Tiras Njoroge was officially handed over the ICT Infrastructure Sub-Sector.
Mr. Njoroge takes over from the outgoing County Chief Officer for ICT Infrastructure, Mr. John Lintari, who will now be in charge of the Economic Planning Sub-Sector.
As he handed over the docket, Mr. Lintari appreciated the ICT team, led by the County Executive for Innovation and Digital Economy Mike Gumo, for the support accorded to him and the sub-sector during his tenure.
“Thank you, H.E. Governor Sakaja Johnson, for the reassignment to the new role in Economic Planning. I am extremely excited and ready to serve you and Nairobians at large as you continue making a great and lasting impact on the people of Nairobi and Kenya. I would like to thank my colleagues, County Chief Officers, and the IDE Sector for the support and guidance and all that we have been able to achieve together as we purpose to achieve the manifesto of H.E. the Governor. I remain confident that the journey ahead shall be exciting. We must make Nairobi work.”
The new chief officer was briefed and updated on the sub-sector’s activities.
The handing over follows changes made by Nairobi Governor H.E. Sakaja Johnson this week in accordance with section 45(5) of the County Government Act 2012.
