Governor Sakaja Johnson yesterday toured several development projects in Kamukunji Constituency and interacted with residents.
Governor Sakaja was accompanied by Yusuf Hassan, Kamukunji MP, Hashim Kamau, California MCA, and Airbase MCA Fuad, Eastleigh North MCA Ahmed Dabar, Eastleigh South MCA Nicholas Okwacho, Minority Whip Mark Mugambi Macharia and a host of other leaders.
Said Governor Sakaja, “We continue to construct and complete roads in California ward (Waudo and Timboroa roads), 7th street in Eastleigh north and Airbase ward, Sabayeti road in Eastleigh North. The Mobility sector is currently constructing 9th Street Road in Eastleigh north-Airbase Ward. The rehabilitation of the road on 8th Street, which is currently in a bad state, will commence once the procurement process is completed. Good road networks will enhance the quality of life of Nairobi residents in various ways, reduce commute times, improve access to essential services as well as promote economic development.”
