Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson has said that from February this year, Nairobi City will get an additional 140 million litres of water once the Northern Collector Tunnel is officially launched
Said Governor Sakaja “I am grateful for the support we have received from President William Ruto which unlocked this project as it was originally expected to be completed in 2024”.
The Governor was Speaking after a Sunday church service at the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA), South B.
Governor Sakaja assured Nairobians that he would ensure the city is cleaned daily as he was also looking at hiring an additional 3,000 casual workers.
“This is a year of work. We will deliver the services we promised Nairobians.” Said the County boss.
The Governor also added that the Likoni Link Road completion would be fast-tracked to ease traffic. “We shall clear Kshs 11m owed to the contractor to ensure completion.”
