Nairobi City County Partners with Multichoice Kenya’s Talent Academy to Boost Short Film Production

Nairobi City County Government is set to partner with Multichoice Kenya’s Talent Academy to build capacity for short film production.

This was announced during a meeting between the County Executive for Inclusivity, Public Participation, and Public Engagement, Dr. Anastasia Nyalita, and Dr. Victoria Goro EGH, The Regional Director Multichoice.

“We will soon embark on a capacity building program with Multichoice Kenya and Multichoice Talent Academy, which will ensure our services are produced, packaged, and broadcasted on Multichoice’s East Africa’s Talent Academy platforms. These will highlight ensure the marketing of the city and its service offerings to Nairobi residents. It will also sell the city amenities to tourists and guests,” said Dr. Anastasia Nyalita.

The MTF Academy East Africa is based in Nairobi, Kenya, the West Africa academy in Lagos, Nigeria, and the Southern Africa academy in Lusaka, Zambia The academies draw students from 13 African countries and offer a career-defining opportunity for young people wishing to pursue careers in the broadcast and production industries.

We will be able to produce powerful content for Nairobi City County, which will be aired to showcase how Governor Sakaja Johnson’s administration is touching and changing lives in Nairobi. These productions will be authentic, relevant, and produced by young African students.”
