Nairobi, 21st July, 2021
Last week saw the handing over of 40 newly built modernized Kiosks in California Ward, Kamukunji Constituency to Nairobi City County Government.
The Kiosks are within this particular ward and were built at a cost of Kes11M.
This project is in line with H.E Ann Kananu’s vision of empowering Nairobi County’s women and youth to ensure they have safe and modernized spaces to conduct their businesses. Said the Deputy Governor and acting Governor, Ann Kananu “It is important to support our youth and women who are majority residents in this great city. Such projects ensure they stay away from crime, hard drugs and alcohol and propels them towards earning honest living.”
