Nairobi City County Government Launches Comprehensive Training Program to Boost Performance and Service Excellence

As part of efforts to enhance performance and elevate service delivery standards Nairobi City County Government has organized a sensitization Programme on three crucial tools: The Performance Contract (PC), Rapid Result Initiative (RRI), and Quality Management System (QMS)-ISO Certification.

The training session that are mandatory to all County staff will be held on all 17 sub counties and City hall from 11th March to 5th April 2024 excluding weekends and holidays.

Nairobi County Secretary Mr. Patrick Analo Urged all County staff to participate in the sensitization sessions in order to familiarize themselves with the vital performance and result based frameworks as the County’s success relies on their understanding and commitment to utilize these tools effectively.
Pc4He said, “I urge all County staff to mark their calendars’ accordingly and ensure that they are present on the specified dates as per the attached schedule as their active involvement is integral to our collective progress as a county. Let us embrace this opportunity so that we can achieve remarkable performance result and contribute significantly to the prosperity of our community.”

The Director for Efficiency, Monitoring and Evaluation Mr. Daniel Masetu said, “This newfound knowledge will empower the staff to not only meet but exceed performance expectations, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work culture within the sub county. Furthermore, the training will equip the staff with the RRI skills needed to drive rapid, visible, and tangible results within a short timeframe.”

He further stated, “Through identifying key citizen service delivery pain points, moving from processes to Results, measuring performance, horizontal integration and involving citizens in the improvement process, they are now better equipped to foster a culture of continuous improvement.”

All sub county administrators to organize the proposed venues and ensure all the staff attend as the county embraces this opportunity to deepen the knowledge and strengthen the capacity to serve the residents of Nairobi better.
