Nairobi City County Deputy Governor and Acting Governor. H. E. Ann Kananu, this afternoon attended the unveiling of Huruma Health care alongside H. E President Uhuru Kenyatta, Director General, Major General, Mohammed Badi, Nairobi County Executives, Dr. Hitan Majevda(Health), Mr. Larry Wambua (Environment) and Mr. Mohammed Dagane(Roads).
The President had earlier unveiled the Uthiru-Muthua health facility which would enable area residents gain quick access to laboratory, maternity, theatre services. The hospital will also help decongest nearby medical facilities. The President also unveiled Muthua Community Water Supply Project in Kabete, Kiambu County. The health centre is part of 24 such facilities being developed by the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) in Nairobi and its satellite towns and will be unveiled by the President in the coming days.
