On 7th August 2019, former Kenyan international footballers led by McDonald Mariga inspected the new Dandora Stadium in Embakasi North which is on its final stages of construction ahead of its official opening.
The former international footballers were impressed with the quality of the stadium, which is being constructed to meet FIFA international standards.
Mariga encouraged young footballers to utilize the facility to nurture their talents in order to improve the standards of football in the country. We will strive to ensure the facility is well utilized by giving young footballers an opportunity to train and play in the new stadium once we officially unveil the facility in the next few days.
City hall is doing final touches at the Dandora stadium before laying of the artificial turf in the next one week.
