Kangundo Road Fire-Station

Nairobi City County is finalizing construction of the Kangundo road fire station that will boost its emergency response especially in Eastlanda area.
The County administration has streamlined the disaster management sector by creating a fully-fledged disaster management and coordination sector, answerable directly to the office of the Governor.

Appreciating the urgency for action and the risk of inaction, the administration has streamlined the disaster management sector by creating a fully-fledged disaster management and coordination sector, answerable directly to the office of the Governor.
It is now a sector headed by a chief officer. In addition, the county is in the process of reviewing the Nairobi County Disaster Management Act 2015, and also developing both the disaster management plan and policy for the city.
The Fire Station at Kangundo Road is progressing well.
