Nairobi, 26th March, 2021
John Kennedy Malimo and Anthony Kimingi have been elected Chair of the Nairobi City County staff branch and Nairobi City County branch respectively in the just concluded elections held on 25th March 2021 at Charter Hall and City stadium.
Mr. Malimo garnered a total of 832 votes, John Osiki 612 and Moses Mwaura 200 votes. John Baraza was elected Deputy Chair in hotly contested elections.
Rosemary Kimani – Treasurer, Stephen Mutua – Assistant Treasurer and Emily Kimani – Women leader, retained their respective seats. The new officials will serve for a period of five (5) years.
