The journey towards making Nairobi a clean city begins in earnest as Sakaja tours parts of Nairobi

Nairobi, 27th August, 2022-

Nairobi  Governor H. E Sakaja Arthur Johnson together with his Deputy, H E. James Muchiri this morning  toured various parts of Nairobi City in the company of Nairobi County officers from various departments.

Said Governor Sakaja,  “I have today given  firm directives which will ensure resolving the current garbage problem across the city in the next few days. We want to see a city of order, dignity, hope and opportunity for all.”

The Governor and his Deputy toured, Mukuru kwa Njenga, CBD, City market and  Greenpark.

Governor Sakaja was sworn in as the fourth Governor of Nairobi City County on the 25th August. In his inaugural speech  Governor Sakaja pledged to write the next chapter in Nairobi City County’s history books by enabling Nairobi residents to play their part as active citizens in building communities and unity.
