Nairobi City County Health Sector Union Heads led by Secretary, Kenya Union of Clinical Officers (KUCO), Tom Nyakaba today paid a courtesy call on H.E Governor, Ann Kananu at City Hall.
Amongst discussions were Staff welfare, promotions, designations, staff harmonization among others.
Said H.E Ann Kananu, “I support workers especially in the health sector because this profession is a calling. Health Workers were the first responders in the fight against the Covid Pandemic and they have been working tirelessly to ensure that the pandemic is contained. Staff grievances if not addressed, leads to a demotivated work force therefore these grievances should not be taken lightly.”
In attendance was Acting County Secretary, Dr Jairus Musumba, Chief Of Staff, Mutunga Mutungi, County Executive Committee Member for Health, Hiten Majevdia, Ag. County Executive Committee Member for Public Service Management, Larry Wambua, Chairman County Public Service Board, Thomas Kasoa, County Chief Officer, PSM, Simon Leboo, Director Human Resource Management, Lilian Maina and other health union representatives.
