Nairobi Governor Sakaja Johnson inspected the progress of the ongoing rehabilitation works on Amboseli Road in Kilimani Ward, Dagoretti North Sub-County as part of his continued commitment to improving the City’s infrastructure.
“Every kilometer we upgrade represents progress towards a Nairobi that moves efficiently and thrives sustainably, and roads like Amboseli are lifelines for our communities, linking homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. My administration is intentional about doing it right, quality over shortcuts, “said H.E Governor Sakaja.
He noted that the road, once completed, will ease movement, reduce traffic congestion, and improve access to social and commercial amenities within Kilimani and neighbouring areas.
The Governor reiterated that his Government remains focused on providing lasting solutions through quality projects under the Ward Development Programme, ensuring that residents across all sub-counties benefit from visible and impactful developments such as infrastructure that can withstand time, weather and population growth.
The ongoing rehabilitation of Amboseli Road is among several infrastructure projects being undertaken across the 17 sub counties.
H.E Governor Sakaja was accompanied by the County Executive for Health, Wellness and Nutrition, Suzanne Silantoi, Receiver of Revenue and Chief Officer, ICT Infrastructure, Tiras Njoroge.
