Nairobi, 21st July, 2021
Last week saw the handing over of the completed 320M Galole street road in Eastleigh’s Airbase ward, Kamakunji sub county to Nairobi County Executive for Roads, Transport and Public Works Mr. Mohamed Dagane by the appointed contractor.
The KES14Million road was funded by Nairobi City County through the Ward Development Fund (WDF).
The road project which took six (6) months will be officially unveiled by H.E Ann Kananu, Deputy Governor and acting Governor, Nairobi City County.
This move is part of H.E, Ann Kananu’s long-term vision and strategy for the improvement of roads, to ease pedestrian and vehicular movement in all the 17 sub counties.
Around KES 5.2B has been set aside for the construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads in the county.
