Nairobi, 2nd February, 2021
Nairobi City County Government (NCCG) Deputy Governor and Acting Governor, Ann Kananu today hosted a delegation from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) led by Commissioner General, James Githii Mburu and his team at City Hall.
H.E, Deputy Governor and Acting Governor noted that it was an honour to welcome the delegation from KRA to City Hall, adding that the NCCG was pleased to be working on strengthening the relationship between the two organizations.
During the course of the meeting, Ms Kananu discussed ongoing collaboration and cooperation between NCCG and KRA, in particular the appointment of KRA as the collection agent for NCCG. Said Ms. Kananu “We will continue working closely with each other in order to be able to achieve set targets. My officers will give you all the assistance to make this happen as we continue to walk this journey together in the spirit of partnership and collaboration. I am a firm believer in individual responsibility and wherever there’s a bottleneck, I will always endeavor to resolve it as a united unit. ”
H.E Madam Kananu was accompanied by members of her County Executive team.
