Starehe Sub County Staff leads business community in a clean up
The Starehe Sub County Administration 20th April, 2017 rallied the Central Business District Community in a major clean up which covered the Country Bus Station and the New Pumwani Road in which tons of garbage was collected.
The Sub County staff was joined by the Country Bus Business Community and the Coca-cola East Africa Company staff in the earlier morning clean up which the participants  unclogged the drainage, cleaned the flyover and collected 21 tons of garbage.

Addressing 254  people who participated in the clean up, the Starehe Sub County Administrator, Ms Seline Ogallo said that the County Government will continue to partner with communities and stakeholders in improving  the business environment in the city.  The Starehe boss added,  "As the County Government enhances its capacity to manage waste during this rainy season, I urge residents to dispose their waste responsibly to help reduce health risks." 
The County administration is using the weekly clean ups as a platform to sensitize and create awareness to the business community on the relationship between clean environment and improved business operations which are akin to customer attraction.
